The Story

 In a forest, the understory is the vital engine of adaptation and the true source of future growth. While the towering canopy captures the light, the life within the understory evolves sophisticated strategies to thrive in ever-changing conditions. In this foundational layer, growth is defined by flexibility and the resilience to adjust to the environment; it provides the essential stability required for the Oak to flourish.

I created Understory & Oak out of a fundamental belief: that when we gain true insight into an individual’s unique strengths and talents, we unlock the power to create an environment of substantial growth. Just as the forest floor provides the vital nutrients for the tallest tree, it is the depth of our self-understanding and the quality of our support that determines how high we can reach.
